As most of you already know, my house was broken into on Saturday afternoon. It's been a very traumatic experience for me. I didn't see the guy, I wasn't home, but EVERYTHING I have was gone through. EVERYTHING. Every drawer, closet, room, fridge, EVERYTHING. I'm not impressed with the situation in the least and am in need of some help getting over it. I went to the house last night and was a complete wreck the whole time I was there and I'm pretty sure I had some sort of panic attack or something like it. I was just WAITING to see someone. It was horrible. Not much was stolen, only Luke's tennies, my hooded Carhart jacket and a blanket off my couch (that I know of at this point). He also took the time to drink two beers out of the fridge and, apparently, take a shower. He was walking out of the end of my driveway as my neighbor happened to be driving by. She said he looked to be in his 60s and he glared right at her. She immediately called the cops and they were there within 10 minutes but he was nowhere to be found.
Secondly, yesterday afternoon my soon-to-be sister-in-law had a stroke. She was at work and lost all feeling in her right side and also couldn't speak. She was brought into the hospital and was given a shot. They then airlifted her to Fargo, ND for further treatment and tests. On the way there she regained some feeling and could talk somewhat. I got word from her husband this morning that her speech was crisp this morning and that tests were okay througout the night. She had an MRI at 9 and I haven't heard anything about that yet.
Third, my mom had her checkup with her radiation doctor this morning. The way this week is going I really don't want to know what he hast to say.

I'm really sorry to hear this. My aunt had a stroke at 36 and it was tough on her family. I'm glad she came to so quickly--that's reassuring. I'll be saying a prayer for the whole family.
