Life is still pretty busy and it's not showing ANY signs of slowing down.
Let's see...
Work has been busy because now that I'm catching up from being on my mini-vacation Boss Man is heading out for his annual canoe trip next week. He leaves tomorrow and will be gone until Wednesday or Thursday. Friday I leave for a trip to the Cities with a group from Gully to hit up a couple Twins games, which I'm super excited about. So we'll have little to no time to get on track next week.
Starting tonight my weekend is pretty full already--I have a party at Dana's for some friends of their's "pre-wedding". They get married on Saturday and apparently two days of partying isn't enough, but that's fine. So that's tonight, tomorrow I have nothing really "planned" although I'd like to go over to Jess's and see the changes they've made to their house they moved back to. Saturday is that wedding (which I probably won't go to), a bridal shower out of town for my friend's fiance (which I probably won't go to but I bought a gift) and the wedding dance (MIGHT go to...it could be fun, but I don't really want to drink at all and drive out of the town it's in). Sunday is Luke's niece and nephew's bowling birthday party.
Next week I'll be able to relax a little and get some stuff done at work when the Boss is gone. Then it'll be hectic and then I'll be cheering from the stands at the Dome! :)
Other than that, my mom is having a bit of a scare right now...she's been sick all week and has been so run down and just exhausted. She went to the doctor yesterday and while the doc doesn't think it's anything serious, they ran some labs so I guess we'll know for sure. She did sound a little better yesterday afternoon when I talked to her. Otherwise she'd been sounding like she was sleeping every single time I talked to her.
I may or may not have pink eye, so I'm sporting up the glasses today. My eye is all red, but it doesn't hurt and isn't itchy so I don't know what's up with it. Guess I'll find out eventually!
Kinda wish today was Friday, but I think it may be possible to make it through one and a half more days.

My weekends are planned out from here until my vacation in September. It's crazy. I feel overwhelmed by it all but I know it will work out.
I hope mom gets well soon and that it is nothing serious.
I'm purposly trying to have NO weekend plans. All I've done for weeks now is work over the weekends. I do have to work this Saturday night, but that should be it.... Stupid job.
I love that you call it "the wedding dance." Round here we call that "the reception." You northerners and your "dances." Too cute.
