Back.

I'm back!

We had a great trip. We only fought once and that was after we drank all day watching the Vikings game and then they lost. That sucked. We were going downtown and Luke was being all quiet and pouty and I'm like, "Well, if you're going to be like this let's just skip it." and went back to the room, cried, etc. It was fantastic. He followed me back, we yelled a little, cried a little, and then were fine. We went downtown and checked out the Freemont Street lights and such. It was fun. Really, I'm kinda glad we fought. We haven't really fought and it was kinda reassuring that we can have a fight and then be okay again. So that's out of the way! :)

The rest of our vacation was great....lots of walking, etc. My legs have been sore for an entire week now. I TRIED to eat better and make better choices but really you can only do so much when you're eating out for that many days in a row. Plus, I WAS on vacation after all!! I'm happy to report that there was no notable gain. As of this morning, I am at 143 again, but I'm okay with that because at least I didn't gain 10 pounds.

What else? Luke's leaving today. He's probably on the road right now, actually. This makes me incredibly sad and my heart hurts. It's probably going to be some over a month before I see him again because February is pretty busy for me. I cannot say it enough how sad I am he's not going to be here for my birthday or Valentine's. Or, really, anything else. I miss him already and I just saw him this morning. Dating a boy that works pipeline really sucks. In case I haven't mentioned, he's going to be working in Indiana until further notice. This is 12 hours from here. This sucks. Badly.

Uhhhh, and when we got to the airport at 11 last night? His pickup wouldn't start. We took a cab home and my car wouldn't start. I go in my house and tada! No water in the kitchen, no water in the spare bath but YES water in my bathroom. Thank you, Minnesota for welcoming me home so sweetly. How can I ever repay you??????
