The weekend was good. It was nice hanging out with Luke and just being. Now he's back on the road again. Two weeks cannot go fast enough.
Friday night was fun. Supper was good and the company was good. We had fun playing the Wii, but I suck pretty badly at it. It's not pretty.
Saturday we loafed around for awhile, then went to breakfast and Luke's nephew's hockey game. It sucked. They played a Canadian team that completely outplayed them. B is a goalie and his team did next to nothing to help him out. I felt bad for the poor kid.
My T.S. party on Saturday went better than I thought it would. Hopefully it'll be a $300 party when all is said and done.
Sunday we hung out at Luke's parents' and then headed back to Bemidji because the weather wasn't looking so hot. We got some snow and the wind was picking up.
All in all it was a good, semi-relaxing weekend.
This week I have a couple possible dinners out for my birthday and a T.S. conference in Minneapolis that I'm leaving for Thursday night. I guess it's time to be adult about things and not obsess about what's NOT happening on my birthday. I'm more than a little sad that I won't be seeing my mom or Lucas, but I guess that's life and I have to suck it up. Julie and I are going to lunch so I guess that'll be as good as it's going to get for me this year.

I am struggling with this long distance shit and it has barely started.
This year was the 1st year in about 7 that I didn't cry on my birthday. It's so dumb....it's just another day but for some reason I always cry. I mean last year it was because the stoopid boy I was dating completely forgot my birthday but another year it was because it snowed. My birthday is in December....like it's not gonna snow!
